Considering The Callisto Protocol was directed by the original co-creator of Dead Space, it's interesting to see the two franchises possibly borrowing ideas from one another. A prequel story to the game, The Callisto Protocol: Helix Stationfeatures the talents of Gwendoline Christie and Michael Ironside, and even contains a fun nod to Dead Space's famous Plasma Cutter weapon. News of the upcoming scripted podcast interestingly follows in the footsteps of a very similar title, The Callisto Protocol. The series will consist of 12 episodes in total, releasing weekly.
